Food Platter
Visiting your friends is a great way to quickly gain food and also to take a peek at other players' towns. You may visit any of your friends by simply clicking on their name at the bottom of the game screen.
When you enter a friend's garden, you will be asked if you wish to leave some food for them. If you choose the "Okay!" button, you will be shown a message request, allowing you to tell your friend that you have left them some food. You can either choose the Share or Cancel button. The Share button will post a message on your friend's wall, but clicking the Cancel button means you simply won't leave a message.
You will then be able to place a Food Platter in any empty space in your friends' garden. As you place it, you will be rewarded with 10 XP and 40 Food. When your friend finds the Food Platter, they will be rewarded with 90 Food and 10 XP.
Candy Bag
Halloween 2011[]
From 12th October 2011, in the run-up to Halloween, the Food Platter was changed to a Candy Bag. This gave the same rewards at the standard Food Platter, but when being collected, had a chance of dropping an item from the Halloween Collection.
