Computer Death
My old PC finally gave up the will to live a couple of weeks ago, leaving me without proper internet access. I am unable to play Gnometown, and my phone's browser gets redirected to a 'cut-down' version of wikia that doesn't allow for editing.
I have now replaced the motherboard and power unit (not sure which was at fault, so swapped both of them!), but the new motherboard only has one IDE slot, and therefore doesn't support all my old drives (2 internal hard-drives, DVD Writer and CD Writer), and the IDE cable won't reach from my main hard-drive to the DVD Drive, thus I cannot have both of them up and running to reinstall my OS.
The solution? I plan to purchase a SATA drive (either Blu-Ray or another Hard-drive), as I'm not using any SATA…
More November Mayhem!
I was just starting to get to the end of the new November stuff, and Bam!, Playdom provide me with a whole lot more. I'm sure they are watching this wiki, and making sure I don't get any rest!
Level 50 was the max limit until a few days ago, and now that this limit has been moved (I have no idea what the new max it yet, but assume it's 60), it seems a lot of new stuff comes with these higher levels.
Level 51: Basil (Crop)
Level 54: Gecko (Creature)
Level 55: Blueberry Bush (Bush)
Level 58: Cucumber (Crop)
Level 60: Silo (Building)
I've not yet reached these levels, so will add them to the wiki as I get to them. If you want to know my current level, watch the XP page, where I add my level rewards as I get them.

November Mayhem
Wow! October was hectic, with lots of new quests, items and buildings in the run-up to Halloween. I was hoping for a bit of a rest during November before another rush of Christmas-related items started appearing.
It seems Playdom have other plans to keep my busy on the wiki. Firstly the Carnival quest chain to work on, and there are a whole load of new Decorations that I need to add. That means, for each new decoration, adding the 'icon' from the Market page, placing one in my town, taking a screenshot on max zoom, cropping it and then creating a new page for it with the cropped image in the Item box.

Server Maintenance
From Playdom:
- IMPORTANT NOTICE: Our servers will be undergoing scheduled maintenance starting at 10:00 PM PST on September 17th, which will likely last into the morning of September 18th. As Playdom said, there shouldn't be any downtime, but you may notice the game running slow.
Major New Quest: Fortress
Excitement has been rippling through the Playdom Gnome Town forums all day today, following the latest update, which included a major new chain of quests.
The quests result in a HUGE (10x10) Fortress, to keep the Evil Gnome at bay. I'll be adding the new quests as I work my way through them (which due to me taking, editing and uploading vast quantities of screenshots at all stages of the quests, will take me longer than someone just rushing through them).
At the time of writing this, I still don't know what a completed Fortress looks like, but I've added the first few quests and a Fortress page and category to the wiki, so if you're just starting on this, I hope the pages I've done so far will help you.
